I thought I'd share with you all a few of my recent favourite animal artworks. There are a few different mediums and styles in here. They are all great artists, so go and have a look at their work.
I'm now an Affiliate for an Art Shop
I was editing a little video I did recently about PanPastels and I wanted to add the link to the product that I was talking about. Then I remembered that some artists that I follow have affiliate links for the art shop where I bought the PanPastels and I thought I'd have a look and see if I could join up. I had to fill in some info, which is normal, but I also had to put a link to my website or other socials so that they could see if I was actually an artist. I was quite excited when I get the email that said I had been acepted. I know it's only a silly little thing, but it's nice to get confimation from my favourite art shop that they think I'm a good enough artist to represent them. I doubt I'll make much money from it, but it would be amazing if I did, 'cos I have a very expencive art habbit! So if you would like 10% off your 1st order from Jacksons Art then please use my wonderful new affiliate link.
Ai doing the words.
As an artist I am terrible at writing the blurb that needs to go with the art that I do. I hardly ever do social media posts because I can't think of what to say. But today I thought I'd have a go at getting Ai to write the words for me. This was partly prompted by my most recent deviation where in the description all it said was; "Badger Portrait, pastel on A4 pastelmat" Not exactly the most inspired description. So this is what the Ai came up with; "The artwork by Happy5art is a stunning portrait of a badger that has been masterfully created using pastels. The piece captures the essence of this unique and fascinating animal, showcasing its rugged features and strong, determined nature. The badger's fur is rendered in a rich and earthy palette of browns and greys, with delicate lines and shading that bring texture and depth to the image. The artist has expertly captured the animal's piercing gaze, conveying a sense of intelligence and curiosity that draws the viewer in. The
Video of the Kingfisher
I've been working on a beautiful Kingfisher drawing. The bird is sitting on icey branches, which is a really interestin background to do. I love how the bright colours of the bird really stand out compared to the frozen background. I've tried to do videos of the artwork which means that I have a lots to sort through. Here's a quick little vid that you can watch of me doing the kingfishers beak. I have no idea how long it will take me to sort out longer ones. I don't know much about video editing so I'll be learing. But hopefully there will be more for you all to watch. The reference photo of the kingfisher is by @PatricksWorld
